Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care including dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Ensure a clean, sterile, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates welcome

Education

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Understanding of oral health and disease prevention
• Proficiency with dental software and record-keeping
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
