Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to emergency department patients of all ages
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity levels
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and critical situations
• Maintain a safe and clean environment following infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous emergency department experience preferred but not required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of emergency nursing principles and practices
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Skill in starting IVs, administering medications, and wound care
• Strong assessment and triage skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
