Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with each patient's plan of care
• Document patient progress and treatment responses to guide ongoing care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
• Communicate patient status and needs clearly with the supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance standards at all times

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Texas PTA license (or ability to obtain one before start)
• Ability to implement treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Passion for helping patients restore mobility and independence

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Therapy interventions and rehabilitation techniques
• Patient care, treatment planning, and documentation
• Home exercise programs and patient education
• Clear communication and collaboration with the care team
• Infection control and regulatory compliance
