Speech-Language Pathologist - Post-Acute Care
Location: Salisbury, Maryland
Start Date: 12-07-2025

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations to identify speech, language, and swallowing needs
- Design and update personalized treatment and discharge plans that empower patients
- Document all services accurately and thoroughly, ensuring full compliance
- Partner with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to achieve the best outcomes
- Champion infection control and safety protocols to provide a secure environment
Qualifications
- A Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Active Maryland SLP license (or CFY eligibility) and CCC-SLP certification
- A passion for helping patients communicate and swallow with confidence
- Ability to work closely with patients, families, and a dynamic care team
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in speech, language, and swallowing therapy
- Experienced in patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Knowledge of swallowing therapy and dysphagia management
- Strong documentation and compliance abilities
- Effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Proficient in infection control and safety practices
- Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving
