Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions for Med-Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding quickly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans
• Document patient care accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg or Telemetry nursing experience
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and telemetry monitoring
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with patients, families, and colleagues
• Familiarity with cardiac rhythms and arrhythmia recognition
