Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Laconia, NH
Start Date: 08-31-2026
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Bill Rate: $39-$45/hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain essential communication and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic, patient-centered care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued progress
- Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and advocate for each patient's communication needs
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Genuine passion for working with older adults and individuals with complex medical needs
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in evaluating and treating dysphagia
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
