Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Bill Rate: $39-$45/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain essential communication and swallowing skills
  • Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic, patient-centered care
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued progress
  • Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and advocate for each patient's communication needs

Qualifications

  • Active New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Genuine passion for working with older adults and individuals with complex medical needs

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in evaluating and treating dysphagia
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
