Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients with a focus on positive outcomes
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, responding quickly to changes in patient conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharges
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments safely and accurately
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
• Document patient assessments and interventions thoroughly in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Prior experience in med-surg or telemetry nursing preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and interpreting telemetry rhythms
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medication administration best practices
