Shift Type: Days, 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, self-scheduling with rotating weekends (2 weekends per 4-week schedule)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse medical-surgical and telemetry patient population
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, documenting and responding to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments, including set-rate Diltiazem/Cardizem drips
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on managing chronic conditions like CHF, diabetes, and post-surgical recovery
• Float to East Campus or PCU as needed to support the team

Qualifications

• Active RN license (AZ or compact)
• 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to read basic telemetry strips
• Experience with CVA, TIA, and total joint replacement care
• Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start
• Cerner experience preferred
