Respiratory Therapist
Location: Pendleton, OR
Start Date: 08-24-2026
End Date: 11-23-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts, variable days (including weekends and holidays as needed)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages - from neonates to adults
- Manage ventilators, bipap, cpap, and bubble cpap for newborns
- Perform arterial blood gas draws and EKGs
- Administer breathing treatments and assist with intubations
- Conduct daily shift checks and accurately bill for procedures
- Work independently in a critical access hospital setting, covering the entire facility
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in vent management (Draeger), bipap (V60), cpap (ResMed), and high flow (Vapotherm)
- Skilled in drawing ABGs and interpreting results
- Experience with bubble cpap on neonates
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to walk 6-8 miles per shift - stay active on the job!
