Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages - from neonates to adults
• Manage ventilators, bipap, cpap, and bubble cpap for newborns
• Perform arterial blood gas draws and EKGs
• Administer breathing treatments and assist with intubations
• Conduct daily shift checks and accurately bill for procedures
• Work independently in a critical access hospital setting, covering the entire facility

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in vent management (Draeger), bipap (V60), cpap (ResMed), and high flow (Vapotherm)
• Skilled in drawing ABGs and interpreting results
• Experience with bubble cpap on neonates
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to walk 6-8 miles per shift - stay active on the job!
