Location: Prescott, Arizona

Start Date: 06-01-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, first to float

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret telemetry strips to ensure patient safety
  • Provide compassionate care to surgical, neuro, and medical patients including those with CVA and TIA
  • Collaborate with charge nurses, RTs, and nurse aides in a 1:5 ratio environment
  • Manage respiratory support like BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula
  • Float to nearby units when needed to support the team

Qualifications

  • Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Comfortable reading basic tele strips and caring for general, orthopedic surgical patients
  • Experience with CVA and TIA patients a must

Education

  • RN licensure; BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

  • Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
  • Cerner charting system (highly recommended)
  • Patient care for COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetics, and surgical cases
  • Respiratory equipment including BiPAP and high flow
