Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement patient care for post-surgical and orthopedic patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, rehabilitation, and discharge instructions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and promptly
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and healing environment for patients and their families

Qualifications

• Current Maine RN license in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in Med-Surg or Ortho
• Telemetry experience preferred
• MOAB or CPI certification preferred
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
