Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable patient experience
• Prepare patients for treatment and take dental X-rays as needed
• Sterilize and organize instruments, maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with office tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or relevant training
• X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in orthodontics is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment

Education

• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
• Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Understanding of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software and patient management systems
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Compassionate and patient-focused mindset
