Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to keep patients' smiles healthy
• Take and develop digital x-rays to assist in diagnosis
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with the dentist to provide exceptional patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New York
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental cleanings and prophylaxis
• Knowledge of dental x-ray techniques and safety
• Familiarity with dental software and charting
• Excellent chairside manner and patient education skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
