Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Manage patient records and schedule appointments
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• X-ray certification required
• Current CPR certification
• Experience working with children preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficient with dental software and record-keeping
• Excellent patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and infection control standards
