Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients in a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit
• Perform neuro and spinal checks, C-Collar placement, and TLSO brace management
• Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, and lumbar drains
• Assist with feeding tube placement and blood transfusions
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, CNAs, and charge nurses

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or stepdown experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Neuro and Trauma Care experience required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in Cerner EMR
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience with patient lifts and Skylift equipment
