Shift Type: Rotating schedule: 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week (day shift start/end times vary by schedule) with rotating evening/night and weekend on-call. Call coverage typically includes a call weekend (Friday 7:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM) and weeknight call shifts (typically 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality intraoperative nursing care as an OR circulator and scrub nurse
• Maintain sterile field and ensure surgical asepsis throughout procedures
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs and prepare instruments and supplies for cases
• Assist with robotics and advanced surgical platforms (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci) when applicable
• Coordinate patient care during the perioperative process and communicate clearly with surgical team members
• Respond to emergent situations and collaborate in trauma and complex surgery cases
• Accurately document intraoperative care, counts, and patient status
• Support continuous improvement and adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

• Current CO RN License or Compact RN License in good standing
• BLS (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum 3 years of relevant perioperative/surgical nursing experience
• Proven experience circulating and/or scrubbing in multiple surgical specialties
• Comfortable working with robotics and a variety of specialty cases

Knowledge & Skills

• Perioperative and intraoperative nursing expertise
• Circulating and scrub techniques with strong sterile technique
• Familiarity with robotics systems (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci)
• Experience across specialties: Orthopedics, Neuro, Trauma, General Surgery, OB-GYN, ENT, Urology, Pediatrics, Plastics
• Strong communication, teamwork, and crisis management skills
• Accurate documentation and patient advocacy during surgical care
