Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across MS-Tele and specialty units
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities, adapting quickly to new teams and patient populations
Monitor and manage patients with cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, ortho, and trauma needs
Titrate Heparin drips and respond to changing patient acuity levels
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent outcomes
Support patients through post-surgical recovery, detox, and long-term placement transitions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Prior neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to various units and schedules

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across multiple specialties
Comfort with floating between MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Ortho, Renal, and ED Observation
Experience with Heparin titration and managing varied patient acuities
Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
Flexibility to work weekends (6-9 shifts per 6-week schedule) and occasional holidays
