Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, flexible 12-hour shifts as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on the Med/Surg unit
- Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and families to develop individualized care plans
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in the EHR
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- PALS certification preferred
- Previous pediatric or Med/Surg nursing experience strongly preferred
- Compassion and a patient-first attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and dosage calculation
- Comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of family-centered care principles
