Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including head-to-toe assessments
• Administer IV medications, including drips like Lasix and heparin, and manage patient responses
• Perform wound care, including drain management and wound vacs
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and hemodialysis catheters
• Care for patients with ostomies, NG tubes, and suprapubic catheters
• Deliver postoperative care and support patient recovery
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during daily multidisciplinary rounds

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or compact state
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
• Experience with Altera or Allscripts Sunrise documentation system

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Med/Surg assessment skills
• Orthopedic care knowledge
• IV medication administration, including cardiac drips
• Wound care including drain and vac management
• Central line and catheter care
• Postoperative patient care
• Knowledge of HCA systems is a plus
