Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every third weekend and every other holiday

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions, intervening as needed
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Iowa or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Previous med-surg or acute care experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in electronic health records
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
