Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the Cath Lab
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient condition and needs
• Assess and maintain procedure room equipment and inventory readiness
• Obtain supplies for individual cases to ensure the Cardiovascular Laboratory team is fully equipped
• Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey (or compact NLC)
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required upon hire
• One year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area
• BSN preferred but not required
• DCI/BVP certification is a plus

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and equipment maintenance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Team player with a focus on quality improvement
