Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care to high-acuity patients including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-surgical recoveries
• Master advanced equipment like vents, CRRT, Impella, and ICP monitoring while collaborating with intensivists and specialists
• Interpret EKGs and tele strips to make life-saving decisions in a fast-paced 24-bed ICU
• Float confidently to MedSurg and Tele units, showcasing your versatility and team spirit
• Respond to rapid changes with precision, ensuring top-notch patient outcomes every shift

Qualifications

• Active RN license with no first-time travel experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR system
• Critical care background in ICU settings
• Willingness to float to MedSurg/Tele units

Education

• RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in ICU and critical care including IABP, CRRT, and ICP as a plus
• Strong EKG interpretation and tele monitoring skills
• Comfort with cardiac drips, vasoactives, and conscious sedation
• Familiarity with high-tech equipment and multidisciplinary teamwork
