Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes and emergencies
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on care procedures and recovery
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Iowa or a compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Willingness to complete Trinity health screening, drug screen, and background check
• ICU experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in critical patient assessment and monitoring
• Knowledge of advanced life support and trauma care
• Familiarity with ventilators and ICU equipment
• Strong clinical judgment and quick decision-making
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
