Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Triage and assess patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care and stabilize critically ill or injured patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and document appropriately
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other team members to deliver coordinated care
Educate patients and families on condition, treatment plans, and follow-up
Maintain accurate and timely electronic charting and handoffs

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
Experience working in an Emergency Room setting preferred
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and emergency assessment skills
Patient stabilization and critical care basics
IV placement, medication administration, and trauma support
Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and make sound clinical judgments under pressure
