Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Triage patients efficiently and prioritize care based on acuity levels
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize and treat critical conditions
• Document accurately in EPIC and maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, treatments, and follow-up care
• Respond quickly to codes, trauma activations, and stroke/STEMI protocols

Qualifications

• Active AK RN license (must have at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, and ENPC certifications
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Trauma and pediatric experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• ED nursing principles and emergency care best practices
• EPIC EMR proficiency
• Stroke and STEMI recognition and treatment protocols
• Trauma patient management and pediatric emergency care
• Splinting and breathing treatment administration
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Flexible, positive, transparent, and efficient work style
