Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Dayshift, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM, includes on-call duties, holidays and weekends, no block scheduling

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during the assigned day shift
Coordinate and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Perform thorough assessments, document interventions clearly, and update care plans
Respond to on-call needs professionally and promptly, including holiday and weekend coverage
Administer medications and treatments according to policy and best practice
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain documentation standards

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia (or compact license where applicable)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications preferred as appropriate
Comfortable with on-call responsibilities, holiday and weekend shifts
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Medication administration and safety practices
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and family education
