Roles & Responsibilities

• Assure high-quality CT and Mammography images with accurate demographic and image data
• Perform daily CT and Mammography QA to maintain regulatory compliance
• Operate PACS system to ensure correct image transmission and data accuracy
• Coordinate merging, moving, and retrieving studies between servers for seamless reading
• Assess patients and optimize exposure techniques for safety and quality
• Review physician orders to ensure correct exams based on clinical history
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety protocols and using protective devices

Qualifications

• ARRT (Radiologic Technology) certification preferred but must obtain within one year
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technology License required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Less than 1 year of experience welcome - new grads encouraged to apply
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

Education

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency with PACS and Meditech
• Knowledge of radiation safety and collimation techniques
• Mammography and CT skills preferred but not required
• Adaptability to work with diverse patient populations across all ages
