Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and evidence-based physical therapy services to residents in a 100-bed skilled nursing facility
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, strength, and independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Document patient progress accurately and adjust treatments as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home safety strategies
• Contribute to a positive, supportive environment that prioritizes each resident's quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Washington (or ability to obtain one before starting)
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric settings is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic exercise skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced SNF environment
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities
• Compassion and patience when working with elderly residents
• Time management and organizational skills
