Shift Type: Day shifts (specific start/end times vary by department), full-time and part-time opportunities; schedule may include work across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing departments

Bill Rate: $55.51-$79.14/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and independence
Provide skilled physical therapy services across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings in accordance with physician orders and regulations
Document patient progress accurately and timely in the EMR to support continuity of care
Use strong clinical reasoning to adapt treatments for diverse patient populations and diagnoses
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on safe mobility, home exercise programs, and injury prevention

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapy License in good standing
Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
1+ year experience in acute care, swing bed/skilled nursing, or outpatient settings
Strong documentation, communication, and clinical reasoning skills
Proficiency with computers and EMR systems and commitment to ongoing professional development

Education

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and treatment planning across inpatient and outpatient settings
Skilled nursing and swing bed care experience
Clinical documentation and EMR proficiency
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Benefits

Full-time sign-on bonus: $10,000
Part-time sign-on bonus: $5,000
13-step clinical scale up to 30 years (experience-based pay progression)
