Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on therapy interventions that follow each patient's physical therapist plan of care
• Partner with patients as they rebuild mobility, strength, and confidence in everyday movement
• Document patient progress and response to treatment clearly and on time
• Guide patients and families through education and personalized home exercise programs
• Keep the supervising PT in the loop on patient status and evolving needs
• Uphold safety, infection control, and compliance standards in every interaction
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to help patients reach their treatment goals

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license, or the ability to obtain one
• Comfortable following treatment plans and adjusting as patient needs change
• A true team player who enjoys collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Compassionate communicator who puts patients at ease
• Committed to safety, infection control, and quality care
