Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed medications with accuracy and care, making sure every patient gets exactly what they need
• Deliver medication education to patients and care teams so everyone understands the why behind the prescription
• Champion comprehensive pharmaceutical care that supports safe, effective and timely patient outcomes
• Review medication orders and collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize therapy
• Maintain the highest standards of practice while staying fully compliant with applicable laws and policies
• Serve as a trusted resource for inpatient pharmacy operations and medication dispensing
• Jump into weekend and occasional evening coverage as part of a supportive, team-first department

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program is required
• Current Kansas Pharmacist License or eligibility for licensure is highly preferred
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience is a plus, though a motivated new graduate with strong clinical skills is welcome
• A genuine passion for patient care and a desire to keep learning
• Comfort with a rotating weekend and occasional evening schedule
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
