Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately while keeping patient safety at the center of every decision
• Review and verify physician orders to confirm appropriate dosing, therapy and drug interactions
• Counsel patients and answer questions so they feel confident about their treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and care teams to optimize medication therapy outcomes
• Maintain precise documentation and uphold all regulatory and pharmacy compliance standards
• Monitor inventory, storage and handling of medications to keep the pharmacy running smoothly
• Serve as a trusted medication expert for the broader healthcare team
• Support coverage during an FMLA/LOA need and make a real difference for patients every single day

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of California
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• Hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience is a big plus
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort working in a fast-paced medical setting
• Excellent communication skills for working with patients and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to commit to a 28-week assignment starting October 26, 2026
• A team-first attitude and a genuine passion for patient care
