Roles & Responsibilities

• Optimize and support pharmacy informatics systems, technologies, and workflows across Salina Regional Health Center and affiliated locations
• Champion medication safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance through smart system design and continuous improvement
• Help manage drug diversion monitoring programs and tools to keep patients and the organization protected
• Safeguard the integrity of the medication-use process and supply chain from start to finish
• Deliver patient-centered pharmaceutical care, including dispensing and drug information, in line with hospital standards and pharmacy law
• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to keep EHRs, automated dispensing systems, smart IV pumps, and barcoding technology running smoothly

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program is required
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience is required
• Current Kansas Pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure is highly preferred
• ASHP-accredited residency is a plus
• Board Certification in Pharmacy Informatics (BCPIS) or a related certification is a plus
• Experience with pharmacy automation, informatics, or IT applications is a nice bonus

Education

• Experience in pharmacy automation, informatics, or IT applications preferred
• Knowledge of EHRs, medication-use systems, and regulatory requirements for controlled substances a plus
• Current Kansas Pharmacist license or eligible for licensure [HIGHLY PREFFERED]
