Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update Denticon software
• Ensure a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Orthodontic Certification (required)
• Experience working with Denticon dental software
• Current dental assistant certification or license as required by Maryland state (if applicable)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instrumentation
• Proficiency in dental software, specifically Denticon
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
