Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist in delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the provider
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage orthodontic impressions
• Support orthodontic procedures, including bracket placements and wire adjustments

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Prior experience in orthodontics strongly preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• Radiology certification or willingness to obtain
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
