Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with call rotation every 3 weeks and every third weekend

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitoring patient vitals and ensuring safety
• Collaborate with cardiologists and the cath lab team to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Administer medications and sedation as ordered, and maintain accurate patient records
• Participate in on-call rotation to support emergency and after-hours procedures
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-procedure care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Completion of Trinity specialty specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Ability to meet Trinity health requirements including drug screen, immunizations, and physical

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and catheterization procedures
• Skilled in monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms
• Comfortable with sterile technique and operating cath lab equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Proficient in electronic health records and documentation
