Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and exceptional patient care
• Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and taking dental x-rays
• Sterilize and organize instruments and maintain cleanliness of operatory rooms
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Manage patient records and update treatment plans using Denticon software
• Support the orthodontic team with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Must be Orthodontic Assistant Certified (OAC)
• Experience as an orthodontic dental assistant is highly preferred
• Proficiency with Denticon or similar dental software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Familiarity with digital radiography and intraoral scanners
• Expertise in Denticon software for patient management
• Excellent chairside manner and patient interaction
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail and adherence to infection control standards
