Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to residents with daily living activities
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Document patient care in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and family members
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Connecticut
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care procedures
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Skills in using electronic health records
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
