Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding dental hygiene services and preventive care to patients
• Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and at-home care
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Document patient treatment and maintain accurate records
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming clinical environment
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to ensure the best patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Compassionate and detail-oriented approach to patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Skill in taking and evaluating dental radiographs
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Experience with electronic dental records
• Ability to build rapport with patients and put them at ease
