Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient visits
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms, upholding the highest standards of safety
• Take dental X-rays and impressions, helping to create precise treatment plans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care, making their experience positive
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation with meticulous care
• Collaborate with the dental team to foster a welcoming and organized environment

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program or accepted on-the-job training
• Orthodontic experience is a plus, but not required - new graduates encouraged to apply
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it before your start date
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental X-ray techniques and strict adherence to safety protocols
• Solid understanding of dental instruments, materials, and sterilization best practices
• Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and patient management
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Compassionate patient care and confident chairside assistance abilities
