Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations with precision and care
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images
• Collaborate with ER physicians and healthcare team to support patient diagnosis
• Adhere to strict radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Accurately document and maintain patient records and imaging results

Qualifications

• Active radiologic technologist license/certification
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Documentation of MMR and Varicella vaccination or declination
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check
• Prior X-ray tech experience preferred
• Flexibility to work as needed, including potential strike coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of X-ray imaging techniques and positioning
• Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment
• Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced ER environment
• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail in image quality and documentation
