Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during exams, procedures, and adjustments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to ensure a safe environment
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Guide patients through their orthodontic journey with clear instructions and encouragement
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Keep the clinic organized, welcoming, and ready for each patient

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or state-specific license
• X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous orthodontic or dental experience preferred, but new grads welcome!
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Denticon) or ability to learn quickly
• Solid understanding of dental terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
