Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, and root planing to promote optimal oral health
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies for long-term wellness
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and patient comfort in mind
• Collaborate with dentists and team members to create personalized treatment plans
• Maintain a sterile, organized environment following strict infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact privilege)
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Previous clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist is highly valued
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and equipment
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
