Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care and cleanings to patients, ensuring their comfort throughout each visit
• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy as needed, within 30-minute appointment slots
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and personalized home-care instructions
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments, following strict infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental assistant to deliver efficient, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
• A passion for patient education and preventive care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene techniques, instruments, and sterilization methods
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, friendly chairside manner
• Ability to work efficiently within scheduled appointment times
• Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety and comfort
