Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
• Take and develop dental x-rays and impressions
• Manage patient records and treatment plans using Denticon
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
• Support chairside procedures such as bracket placement and wire changes

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Dental assisting experience in an orthodontic setting
• Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work comfortably with dental software

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Proficiency with Denticon software a plus
• Skill in taking dental impressions and radiographs
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
