Roles & Responsibilities

Take vital signs and perform routine clinical tasks to keep patient visits running smoothly
Prepare exam rooms, assist providers during patient exams, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment
Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record
Communicate clearly with patients and families to explain instructions and provide compassionate care
Coordinate basic administrative tasks such as scheduling and phone triage to support clinic flow
Participate in orientation and team meetings to continuously improve patient care

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting is a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills; patient-centered mindset
Ability to pass background checks and any required facility credentialing

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certificate or postsecondary training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency taking vitals and basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
Knowledge of infection control and HIPAA privacy practices
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working as part of a collaborative clinical team
Basic phlebotomy or EKG skills are a plus
