Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 5-hour Ambulatory shift (exact start/end times to be provided; includes orientation)

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and prepare them for timely, efficient visits
Assist providers with ambulatory clinical tasks, vitals, and basic procedures
Accurately document patient information and update electronic medical records
Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked and organized
Coordinate patient flow to keep the clinic running smoothly
Support care coordination by communicating clearly with patients and team members

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent medical assistant certification preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable working in an ambulatory/clinic setting; patient-focused attitude required
Excellent communication and teamwork skills — you’ll be part of a close-knit clinic
Orientation attendance required prior to or at start of assignment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant program completion preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical skills: taking vitals, rooming patients, basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced ambulatory environment
Compassionate patient interaction and effective communication
