Shift Type: AM shift (Ambulatory) — 5 hours per shift; specific start/end times vary by clinic; orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians with patient intake, vitals, and preparation for exams
Administer ambulatory care tasks under provider direction with accuracy and empathy
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient chart and clinic systems
Coordinate patient flow and support a smooth, professional clinic experience
Support infection control and clinic safety standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred or state-required credential
Current BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain prior to start
Comfortable with ambulatory clinic environment and patient-facing responsibilities
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Orientation attendance required prior to clinical start

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with ambulatory clinic workflows and patient intake
Ability to take accurate vitals and perform basic clinical tasks
Proficiency with electronic health records or willingness to learn
Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
Attention to detail with documentation and compliance procedures
