Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver technical nursing care to residents using the nursing process and evidence-based practices
- Collaborate as a member of the nursing team under RN supervision to ensure safe, high-quality resident care
- Assume charge nurse duties in the Skilled Nursing Facility as needed, coordinating care and staff
- Use clinical judgment to prioritize tasks, plan resident care, and respond to changing conditions
- Document resident care accurately and use facility computer systems proficiently
Qualifications
- Current California LVN license required
- Graduate of an approved LVN program with an associate degree or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- At least 1 year of LVN experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to prioritize and plan effectively
- Comfortable with basic computer documentation and electronic charting
Education
- Associate degree from an approved LVN program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) clinical experience
- Proficient in nursing process and clinical judgment
- Patient care and bedside skills for long-term and post-acute residents
- Charge nurse capabilities and staff coordination
- CPR competency and emergency response readiness
- Computer proficiency for charting and documentation
Benefits
- Sign-on bonus: $5,000
- Progressive pay scale with 30 pay increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
