Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts (exact start/end times and days to be confirmed; schedule based on facility needs)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
Monitor and document resident status, vitals, and changes in condition
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
Educate residents and families with clear, respectful communication
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Valid LPN license (must be eligible to practice in Pennsylvania)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
Comfortable with medication administration, charting, and basic nursing procedures
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent; active LPN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and documentation
Skilled at taking and interpreting vital signs
Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered care
Good clinical judgment, time management, and teamwork
